Whangarei's Wildlife

Whangarei is home to the New Zealand famous Zion Wildlife Gardens. The gardens are dedicated to the preservation of endangered big cats and are located about a 20 minute drive from our holiday park. If you’re out at the beach exploring the Tutukaka Coast, drop in to Tutukaka Wild Adventure Company- formerly Bluewater Farmpark. Here you can meet exotic birds, alpacas, llamas, miniature horses and other cute farm animals. The park also has amazing views of the Tutukaka Coast from the onsite cafe!

A little closer to the town centre is Serendipity Farm Park, where your children can hand feed over 20 different animals. If you're visiting Whangarei with children, our Family Rooms provide the perfect accommodation.
